What We Believe

I believe in God,
the Father almighty,
Creator of heaven and earth,
and in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord,
who was conceived by the Holy Spirit,
born of the Virgin Mary,
suffered under Pontius Pilate,
was crucified, died and was buried;
he descended into hell;
on the third day he rose again from the dead;
he ascended into heaven,
and is seated at the right hand of God the Father almighty;
from there he will come to judge the living and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit,
the holy catholic Church,
the communion of saints,
the forgiveness of sins,
the resurrection of the body,
and life everlasting.

As a Roman Catholic Church, our most fundamental statement of faith is the Apostle's Creed, featured to the left. We cling to the teachings of sacred scripture, as interpreted by our bishops and our Pope (the Magesterium), through the lens of sacred tradition. There's a lot we believe as Catholics, but here are a few things that are really important.

We believe Jesus loves you.

We believe that He wants you to have a personal relationship with Him.

We believe that God is calling you to a life of holiness, because He desires your utmost happiness.

We believe that no matter what path your life has taken, God is welcoming you with open arms, and we are too.
