Synod Year IIIA
- The Archdiocese of Saint Paul and Minneapolis is in the third year of implementation of the priorities established as a result of the Archdiocesan 2022 Synod process and Archbishop Hebda's pastoral letter "You Will Be My Witness." Recall, Year I prioritized small group ministry. We're so grateful for the thriving small groups at Saint Rose, especially for all those who courageously stepped up as leaders. Year II focused on deepening understanding of the Mass. Small groups chose material to learn more about the mass and Fr. Ryan Glaser presented "The New and Eternal Covenant." We expect the Year III priority of Parents as Primary Educators to actually span two years. For the coming year, the focus is Reclaiming Sundays for both worship and rest.
  
  In a recent Catholic Spirit article, Dr. Pam Patnode, former director of Catholic school leadership at The St.Paul Seminary was quoted stating: "It is very counter-cultural today to intentionally make time for prayer and worship, rest, and true recreation/leisure. Yet, when we do so, we are able to grow our relationships with Christ and others, while also growing into our own full .potential." The Saint Rose Synod Evangelization Team (SET) encourages you to begin in prayer. What are you and your family being called to in regards to Reclaiming Sundays? No doubt it will look different now than next April and from those sitting in the pew in front of you. Spend some time in conversation with the Lord.
